I really enjoyed this Lisa Jewell book. She creates a story that is very easy to read and draw you in. She skillfully weaves together different story lines and makes you somehow forget the little clues she drops before she brings everything back together. What initially struck me as another run of the mill psychological thriller quickly becomes an exciting story that hits you with twist after twist. And even after you're convinced you've figured it all out, Jewell hits you with another incredible twist on the last few pages.

While I enjoyed all of the characters, I wish Jewell had developed Rebecca's character a bit more, so we could understand more of her backstory. While I understand that leaving her character shrouded in mystery was necessary to distract you from her connection to the Fitzwilliams family, I felt she could have used more character development. I also wish there would have been more closure for Freddie, and I would have liked to read more about his relationship with Romona. Overall, Watching You is a fun read and I look forward to reading whatever Lisa Jewell publishes next.
