Whoa! This book pulled me from the very first page!
Mila is aging out of the foster care system and takes a job as an intern at Terry and Julia’s farm. The couple take in foster children and Mila will be teaching them. The farm is in a pretty remote location...and it’s haunted.
There is so much to find out in this book. What is Mila’s story? Who are the ghosts that inhabit the farm? Is there something sinister about Terry and Julia?
My only dislike of this book is that there are a lot of characters and I found it hard to keep everyone straight. But the writing style is one I really like and I think I just need more time to get to know the characters. I can’t wait to finish this wonderful book!
