Watch Over Me is a beautifully haunting story of Mila who aged out of the foster care system, with some secrets that she felt she couldn't face. She had the opportunity to have a life outside of the system on the farm. This patchwork family helped her face her ghosts and overcome them. I absolutely loved this story of what seemed like impossible to overcome loneliness to Mila finally facing her past and finding her place in a family who not only she chose but who chose her! This was my first book by Nina Locour but won't be my last. Her writing style is absolutely beautiful! Loved how she melted this story together for a wonderful finish that left you satisfied how it ended and the story came together!! This is a quick but very deep read!! Definitely 5 stars from me!!!
