I won this book from a giveaway by bookish first. The writing is so atmospheric that I loved this book. It emotionally ruined me! This story is a quiet, rural contemporary fantasy about ghosts and loneliness it was definitely solid. I mean Nina Lacour is the queen of writing sad girls and emotional times. The way this book handles trauma and finding family was well done. I wish there was a slightly bigger punch and that I was slightly more invested emotionally by the ending, if so I think this would have been a five star book. But no one writes loneliness better than Nina Licour! The only other book by her that I have read so far was Everything Leads to You and that one was also really good so maybe I will check out more books by Nina Licour. I have heard good things about We Are Okay so maybe I will read that book next. Either that or You Know Me Well.
