First I picked this up because the cover art is lovely and the title sparks interest. The author is able to draw the reader in very quickly with her writing style. Mila, a young woman aging out of the foster system, begins work at a farm home schooling other foster kids. She quickly realizes that the farm is not what it seems and her memories are not what they seem either.

This book is going to be one of those that make you sit quietly and focus all of your attention on. Its going to stick with you after you have finished the last page as you come to grips with everything. The supernatural element is intruduced in an abrupt way but the reader is already so engaged at this point that they forgive the author and tuck in for a good read.
