I was very intrigued by this title, and the beautiful cover. As Mila ages out of the foster system she has the opportunity to intern at the Farm. A remote area by the ocean that is haunted. Ghosts don't scare her so she says, and the interactions with he ghosts are very interesting. Her past is haunting and traumatic and the interactions with the other Farm residents is rather interesting.
This book is about finding your place and also questions where you belong. How we turn towards or leave other people, and how this impacts out life and expectations. The reflection on how trauma can influence our perceptions and expectations is also very interesting. I found parts of the writing poetic and other times very intrigued by the choices made.
