Watch Over Me is beautiful, haunting and full of grief.
Nina LaCour is the queen of loneliness and sadness. I was so deep in my feelings reading this novel. I wasn’t sure what to expect coming into this book. Is it a spooky story or something deeper? I needed to know!
We follow Mila who has just aged out of the foster care system. She goes to work at a farm where she teaches other foster care kids. There she starts reliving all her memories good and bad.
This was my second book by Nina and I loved it just as much as We Are Okay. I highly recommend it if you enjoy YA Contemporary.
