The cover of this book is gorgeous and to me symbolizes the beauty of the main characters mind. This book sounds like a haunting tale of resilience and strength. A teaching job on a remote island surrounded by beauty, but very much a solitary life? Okay, that sounds pretty good. But, what about the ghosts that haunt the island. Maybe they don't want you there? It sounds like the main character has a tumultuous past of being in the foster care system and that this job would be a fresh start for her life. However, some things are too good to be true. I would definitely read this book based on the cover and the description.
