I read the entire excerpt of the First Impression, but honestly I didn't need to. By page 14 I knew I wanted to read the rest of this book about a teenager aging out of the foster system and desperately wishing for her next step. I've never been part of the foster system, but I've read enough about it and spoken with a few key people who have been forever changed by it to scoop up any stories having to do with foster children and (usually) crying my eyes out over it. I'm so looking forward to the rest of Mila's story!
