Fog and ghosts and flowers--what more could a reader want?

I am certainly hooked on Mila and her story, both past and present and future stories, from the beginning. From the beginning, the reader knows she's had a difficult time and is hoping for a new beginning. By the end of page 8, we also know that she is heading into even more trouble in a house with ghosts. By the time, a ghost actually appears on page 21-22, I knew this was a book I would want to read!
