The owners of the Prescott University should be sophisticated, wealthy and well put together.. on the outside. But when a supposed break-in is reported, and the Mrs. turns out to be anything but, what can you believe? And then to found out she may not have been sophisticated, wealthy and well put together long before any of this occurs, it will only go downhill from here.
I enjoyed this novel because I love having to put the pieces together. An intelligent novel that makes you feel like you are unraveling events with the characters will always keep my attention. It may not be fast-paced, but I can always enjoy a slow burn when it is as smart and well-paced as this one.
I also love the secrets and shadows lurking around the University campus. It is fresh and perfect for this day and age. Throw in the detailed vision of Harvard's Widener Library and I was in absolute heaven!
