I liked the style of writing and am the plot so far. I hadn't even noticed I was close to the end of my sample, because I was so drawn into the story. I want to know what happens in the story and how all of the characters work into it. I liked Maxine and Hester and I want to know what happened to Maxine from the time we first met her until she appears again at the 30 under 30 event. And I'm intrigued about Hester and why she doesn't want to know about Morgans past or share hers with him. And why she is raising her niece. I'm curious to know what happens at the even that causes Libby to run out the way she did and what Barrett has to do with anything and why he was so determined to reinvent himself. I want to know what happens that Hester and Angela are called out to Jennifer's estate. I understand Angela since she is a police officer, but why Hester?? And why they don't believe what Jennifer says and what causes Hester to investigate the family.
