3rd in the Hester Thursby series. This book continues to explore the relationships between the main characters in the series and their quirky personalities. It is well worth starting at the beginning of this series to really get introduced to these characters and their personalities and how they have collected people in their lives. The central theme throughout this book is how far would you go to protect your family and friends. There are some twisty moments and plenty of suspense generously sprinkled throughout the book. Family dynamics is always a great way to start building a story given how many different combinations, personalities, and people in life to get information from to put into the story to make it the best it can be.
