Right out of the first couple of chapters you are hit with action! I really enjoyed the start of War Girls. The story moves fast as two sisters Onyii and Ify are set in a war torn Nigeria. I have never heard of the Nigeria Civil War before but now feel a little more educated on the subject after reading the authors notes in War Girls. I have never read any books by Tochi Onyebuchi before till now and I will definitely be looking into the others after reading this book.
The cover looks simply amazing getting the sci-fi point across easily. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out even though I'm not sure what could be going on after the first book ended like it did. I highly recommend War Girls!
