War Girls takes place in a futuristic world that is so unique! There is a lot of really cool technology, AI, and augmentation that really hooked me in. The writing was incredible and the characters were so interesting. I loved Onyii and Ify and was drawn in by their struggles and their suffering. Their relationship was exciting and devastating at the same time. The story could have gone in so many directions, and as someone who is good at guessing plot twists, I was shocked (but not disappointed) by what ended up happening. The action in this book was fun and exciting, but what really made it great was the relatable and interesting characters and the cool world. If you like science fiction that has something to say, then this book is for you!
