War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi was an inspiring tale about young girls fighting for their country and for each other. I loved the family vibe I got while I was reading about the War Girls and how they always had each other’s backs because they are the only family they know and can trust. I was always on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters so much. Toward the end of the book I was almost tired of all the war and it became almost predictable. But, even though I was unhappy with the last quarter of the book I think it was done that way to set the scene for the next book! I can’t wait to see what Onyebuchi has is store for the next adventure.
