I enjoyed the inventiveness of this book and the way it played with character and the subconscious. In particular, I enjoyed Hannah's character and her awareness of Wanda's state of mind. I did struggle with Wanda's character more, and I think since the book was meant to be funny, it didn't fully address the emotional abuse that she dealt with and in some sense trivialized it. Plus, spending time with such an unredeemable and odious person as Dirk is a hard sell overall.
That being said, if you go into the book knowing it is meant to be a light read that is meant to be more on the comical side, it is entertaining, especially when the two characters running around Wanda's subconscious are on the page!
