This is a short book, more of a novella in size. It has an interesting plot, and was a fast read for a weekend when I was looking for something light to escape into since I've been in limbo with the COVID 19 pandemic.
The story has characters from different novels who are in the thoughts of an author. One knows she's a character, the other doesn't know he is a character.
The author, a writer, who has the characters living in her subconscious, is having problems. She is in a destructive relationship with a narcissist and is having trouble writing. She has also been smoking marijuana which is contributing to her problems.
This is definitely an original plot and is fun to read.
