Admittedly I only read half of the sample, but I believe I read enough to know this book is not a great fit for me.
The book appears to be somewhat meta because it asks questions within itself, the book is not referencing characters or storylines but instead seems to reference the genres of the characters who serve as this book's characters and the storylines of characters that are not an actual part of this book's storyline, the characters reference the author, etc. I enjoy it when characters break through the 3rd wall, but just not in this particular way.
