Let's try and sort this out: there is a male author under contract to a well known publisher, there is a female ghost writer, there are two characters - one female, one male. The male character seems to be a real (let me find an acceptable adjective so that this is not an R rated review).... ummmm... jerk? The male character asks to see the female character's breasts. What the heck. Oh, it's only because he is afraid she has a weapon hidden there. But wait, the male character reverts to being a....um.... jerk and comments on the ample cleavage. The preview pages were not enough for me to determine if this would be a fun analogy of the creative writing process. Will the female writer ever receive full credit or does the contracted male author receive all the glory?
