First of all, this cover is beautiful. Just the cover alone would make me want to read it! Anyway, I really liked this book! A very impressive debut novel. The first fourty-ish pages are kind of slow, but once it picks up, it doesn’t really stop. The writing is really beautiful the author did a really great job making me feel like I was there in the story. I did guess the ending, but that didn’t really bother me too much. I really enjoyed the character development in the book and thought the author did a fantastic job making the reader become invested in the lives of the people in the story. I read most of the book thinking that it definitely had five star potential, but I felt that I had to dock a star because I was a little disappointed in the predictable ending! So, four stars! I can’t wait to see what else this author comes out with in the future!
