Loved, loved, loved the first impression! I know there will be strong female characters in this book, and I love any book that mentions secrets. For someone who usually reads thrillers and domestic suspense, this book grabbed me with the beautifully written, almost lyrical opening paragraphs. This sounds like a definite must-read. A coming of age story for a modern audience.
