From the start, this book completely grabbed me. The atmospheric tone is beautifully written. Chapter one successfully pulls readers in with its immediate introduction to a mystery and its last few haunting lines. It’s been a while since I felt compelled to use my points on a book here but this one was well worth the exchange.
