The beautiful cover pulled me in, and I’m so glad it did. The first look is intriguing and, I love the contrast between the mystery of the past and present. It’s also extremely timely to have the characters dealing with current issues of climate change and forest fires. I can’t wait to read the rest and learn what happened that summer!
