A Childhood Friendship's Growth and Change

I do love a good book that explores deep childhood friendships and how they manifest into adulthood. I think I'd enjoy the premise of forestry, too, as I don't know much about that industry and would love to know more. This book sounds unique enough to pique my interest and it feels like it'll have strong, rich characters, which is always a must for me.
