The best book I have read in years! I loved the cadence of the writing, the flow of the story, the odd (some odder than others) characters, the small town the story takes place in, and every single little thing that made this book as wonderful as it is. I am buying copies to give as gifts because I don't want any of my friends to miss out on this. I hope we don't have to wait another ten years for Leif Enger to write another novel... I don't think I could take it. As it is, I am rereading his novel "Peace Like a River" to help soothe my soul. I would have read this faster, but life got in the way.
