I have felt like Virgil before - not because of a concussion - but the way he described feeling when he walked into his home the first time after his accident, I feel that all the time. Sort of like I'm an actor and I'm not actually home. Virgil had a terrible accident, the kind I used to fear all the time when I lived in a snowy climate. I really identify with his romanticism about his town and his movie theater - I often read books that give me this feeling about a place and wish that it really existed so I could move there. I can't tell yet if Virgil really feels like he actually died, or something has just shifted because of the accident. I'm also very curious to see how Rune fits in. I can see myself really enjoying this book.
