I was greatly unimpressed almost to the point of boredom as I tried to slosh through page after page of this book titled “Very Intentional Parenting”. Perhaps it should have been titled “Very Intentional Advice Given Too Many Times Before”! I will have to concede that the advice while not new or unfamiliar is still good advice but honestly is it too much to ask that the advice written in a totally new book actually be new and insightful?
I found myself drifting off as I read and truthfully began to skim the paragraphs after a point. Many of us who sincerely have multiple issues to deal with are eagerly searching for anything that may be an innovative approach to find answers to potentially help us solve or simply deal with our existing problems and situations in a way that could eventually resolve them at best or relieve our anxiety at worst.
