Although I am not a parent yet, I thought this book sounded interesting and like one that would be helpful for parents looking to learn more about strategies they could use to communicate with their children and maintain a positive relationship with them. Parenting is such an important topic and I like that the author takes a down to earth approach to it in her book. I could see a lot of parents using this book as a guide to help them not only discipline their child in an appropriate manner, but to also help to protect and care for them as well. The cover of the book is also nice.
