I would like to specify at the beginning now that there wasn't particularly anything bad about this book to me. It was just that I find it really hard to get into Science Fiction works and thought that since I enjoyed the writing style presented in this book that I would enjoy it.
This was not the case and I DNFd this book at about 50% of the way in.
I just found the pacing to be really slow and when you're already thinking about all the things you dislike about the book other than the writing something like pacing is usually the deciding factor about whether or not you'd like to continue it. As I said before there is nothing wrong with this book and I feel like fans of the genre would enjoy it.
