Prior to receiving this book, I was not familiar with Upworthy. After reading about them, I was even more excited to read their book. They have such a great mission. Sometimes, I find it easy to get down when watching the news because it feels like nothing good is ever happening. I love that they are showcasing good people doing good things!
The book contains 101 stories that range in size from a few sentences to a few pages. There are also beautiful illustrations throughout the book. I especially enjoy the little spotlights. Some of them are so funny, including the little girl who really loved her daddy and wanted to know where they got him. You just now how much a small gesture could effect someone’s day!
I’d recommend this book to readers who already enjoy Upworthy and to readers who aren’t familiar with the site. I think everyone can enjoy some feel good stories!
