I love this book! I was not familiar with the Upworthy website this book is associated with, so it was all new to me. Filled with uplifting stories, Good People is a book that made me feel hopeful and happy and connected to my fellow humans. It reminds me that in spite of the constant bad news across all forms of media, the world is still a place where many kind, thoughtful humans exist. The stories are short - many are just one page, but none are longer than a few pages. The writing is engaging. It's easy to pick it up and read in short spurts. The stories are organized into six sections such as The Kindest of Strangers, The Kids are All Right, and Away from Home. Read the book from cover to cover, skip around the sections, open at random - no matter how you approach this book, you're sure to find something that will soothe your mind and comfort your soul.
