Enjoyable, Heartwarming, and Entertaining

UPWORTHY-GOOD PEOPLE is a book that I plan to give as a gift because it truly is heartwarming and entertaining without ever having any sappy or insincere elements. Best of all, these true tales of goodness do not have an underlying message; no one is promoting religion or hinting that the religion of the author is the true one, the best one, the only one. Let me clarify that I do believe in God, and I have said plenty of prayers in my life. However, I also believe that there are kind, caring, wonderful people from any country and set of beliefs. This book is simply -as the title says- about good people. People who sense that someone else needs a little help right this second. It does not require heroic deeds but rather heroic empathy. I appreciate the fact that this book does not include someone's rephrasing of various step programs with implied promises to be the cure for anything ailing anyone. Every story is different and short. Give this book a try; I think it will put a smile on your face as it did mine.
