I like it but meh

I liked it and it while it was enjoyable I felt like some of things that got brought up or mentioned just ended up getting lost in the story or just completely forgotten. Take Gossamer for example you don't get much information about him at all and then he's just poof at the end with no answers. No resolve whatsoever. Just an iron blade to the hand and then boom he's gone somehow. To me the characters all seemed to be pretty one note throughout this whole book. I didn't feel like you got to see very many sides to them.

I honestly feel like the ending was very rushed since what little conflict there was all happened in the last 9 chapters.The story doesn't feel completed at all. The world building and magic system isn't the best out there. I also this the little thing with Seelie and Raze could have just been left out in all honestly. It literally adds no value to the story or even takes away for that matter. When they finally got to the Keep I was expecting it to go and be a little different from what it was. I thought it would be riddled with traps and some kind of danger. They just simply walk I'm with ease and run around despite the fact that Seelie kept feeling weird while she was there. If there was a second book I don't know if I would want to read it or not honestly.
