I smell a ragtag group of misfits story! This had the feel of The Gilded Wolves or Six of Crows! I feel like they're all going to join up and go on a wild adventure and I am ready to see what happens next. This excerpt leaves on a nice cliffhanger, but I'm sure they manage to get out of the mess they are currently in, and they're about to discover something wild about that compass. I also really want to learn more about the girls' backstory. Looking forward to reading this book!
