It feels kind of weird for me to say that I've been unhappy with fantasy recently, but I've definitely been pulling away from it more and more recently.
However, I figured I'd give Unseelie a chance. See if maybe this is the book that could get me excited for fantasy again.
And Unseelie certainly has some interesting aspects to it.
Our main character is a changeling, which I don't think has been done in any of the fantasy I've read up until this point. Sure, I've read OF changelings, but never as a main character! This alone makes me want to pick up the full story.
I also think it's very interesting to see these four characters meet up in a quest none of them had any idea they were going to go on. Two heists gone wrong that turns into a much larger plot seems like such an interesting beginning to a book, and I'm excited to see where Unseelie goes after this!
