The book goes over Holes’ time as a detective and follows his twenty year hunt for the Golden State Killer along with other investigations he worked on along the way. The book also talks about his difficulties with his family life and coping with his straining job.
This book made me feel like I was sitting at a coffee shop going over his time in law enforcement. I absolutely loved it! It’s always shocking to me learning about the lack of technology police had in terms of DNA and difficulties working between districts, states, etc.
I highly recommend this one! Not just for avid true crime readers, but every reader! This was so easy and enjoyable to get through compared to other true crime books with more mundane content.
