I really enjoyed this book. It gave me an insight of the ups and downs of being a crime solver. And getting to know even more details of some of the cases Paul worked on. I admire his reason in becoming one and helping that victim's family in finding some type of closure. Bu I also couldn't help feeling sad for his family, because they felt he wasn't present and probably felt he didn't care about them as much as he cared about helping others. It's really a tough position to be in and I definitely wouldn't want to be in his shoes. It seems like if you want to be a crime solver you shouldn't have a family because you won't have the time for them anyways so in the end it's like you don't have a family and it won't be fair to them.

But also this gave me respect on what these people do day and day out and all the gruesome stuff they say and how they learn to compartmentalize it all.
