I had high expectations going into this book, especially being someone who frequents crime-related media. This book blew my expectations out of the water.

The story starts with how he to into his field, immediately confronting his own disillusionment with the life of a Crime Scene Investigator. Holes' medical background makes his breakdowns of the crime scenes analytical but easy to follow. He is very raw in this book, confronting his own wrong-doings and identifying his downfalls in his relationships and his cases.
