Where I sit right now, I am DNF-ing this book. I just can't keep myself interested in this book once I hit chapter 3. It wasn't a gradual loss of interest; it was like once I hit chapter 3 my interest plummeted. I think I will keep reading this book, but slowly, and maybe not at all. I can say that I definitely would not have spent money on this book, and that makes me sad to say, considering how into the book I was when I did my first impressions review. I feel like the first 2 chapters were a nonfiction story written like a fiction novel, with fewer statements of fact, and more to tell a story. But it doesn't stay that way and it turned me off on continuing this book.
I wanted to like this as much as I originally wanted to like it. I just don't know that I see that happening. If I happen to pick the book back up and finish it, I will come back and update my review. I just don't know if I will finish it.
