I mostly enjoyed this book. Hearing about his life, his obsession/calling, and what it did to his life gives reality to something that is glossed over in crime TV shows. That being said, he goes overboard with mea culpa. Just talk to your family yourself.
I am interested in the story he starts off with, leading with pits and pieces to whet your appetite and pull you in. I really want to read this book.
