I have always found unsolved cases fascinating for the forensic side of things but this book captures the pain in being a victim. Within the first few sample chapters the investigator really focuses on the victim's families and their pain from not knowing what happened to the person they lost. It also gives you a glimpse into the thinking of an investigator and just how often they deal with the unthinkable in human nature. This book seems so captivating and I can't wait to read more.
