This book kicks off with a dark and gritty tone, exactly as you’d expect from a former cold case investigator. Holes addresses both his professional role in solving crimes as well as the personal impact his job has had on his mental health and family relationships. Some scenes few a bit overdramatic, but overall I think this book is going to give a pretty interesting viewpoint and I definitely want to read more.
