Out of all of the Lynda La Plante First Impressions that I've read from Bookish First, this one was the easiest to follow. But, there were some terms I was not familiar with (NFA the case, been a DC long, full PM, stayed in the OP, etc.) that were not explained anywhere so it made reading the story a bit confusing. The pace was fast but the conversations were still really long and I don't think it helped with character development or story progression. I think the mystery is interesting but the writing style is not good enough for me to keep reading.
