I enjoy reading books written by LaPlante - great original dialogues, not too formal or 'polite', they sound very realistic, and because of that, each character is more vivid. The Unholy Murder presents the same brilliant writing style, which kept me hooked from the first page. The plot is engaging and developing very quickly. The cold cases are very intrigued, so I think the mystery hidden in this book is worth discovering. I like the way how other characters are presented in the story, how I could acknowledge them - and the unusual approach adapted by detective Jane Tennison - brilliant.
