I was very excited to get the chance to read under the Naga tail because, sadly I didn’t really know about this. It was hard and sad to read how these families were uprooted from their homes for no reason. I can’t imagine how all these families were able to go on day after day not knowing what was going to happen to them or if they were even going to survive. The decisions some had to make about their children and parents was heartbreaking. I admire the strength and bravery it took for them to keep going with little to no food and water. Then to get to a place where they think they will be safe only to find more heartache. I cannot begin to know what these families have been through and the strength it took Mae to relive all the horror for James to put into this book. I wonder how James felt hearing what his father and family went through. I am thankful to both of them for sharing this story. I truly learned something and would recommend this book.
