Memoirs are the only nonfiction I gravitate towards. After reading one too many memoirs about a white woman escaping a cult, this is book is just what I need. I know very little about Cambodia and it's history. So Mae's life story and the history of his country are something that has captured my attention. I hope to read this book and continue to learn about his life and culture.
