The cover art is bold and striking and immediately caught my attention. I language from the excerpt was clear and easy-to-read, which would make this a good book for an adolescent or young adult reader. The main character, Adanna, is someone I think girls can relate to, trying to be doubly perfect, and see from the story where this will lead.
