At first glance, this seems like an interesting contemporary adult novel about living your life, juggling your love life and family. After reading the first look, I was especially intrigued by the part where they talk about cultural appropriation. It seems like this book will include very deep discussions about race and cultural topics. I'm very interested in reading more and learning from this book.
