Good premise, strong character development

This contemporary YA story is fast-paced, has great dialog (complete with dialect), and good character development. In reading the first look chapters, I got a good sense of the characters, groups, and conflict. I like how the strong first-person perspective, and how the author shares what's going on in our protagonists head as he navigates his worlds.
